This is small video camera with big useful , for those of you unfamiliar with GoPro, these cameras are incredibly small, incredibly powerful and wonderfully engineered. Not only do the cameras record at pixel densities beyond even the most powerful televisions, but GoPro and their partners have constructed an eco-system and a community which is so robust and so loyal that the competition simply don't have a chance.
Now don't let the colour fool you into thinking this camera is anything less than brilliant. Put very simply, the Silver edition of the Hero 4 takes everything that was great about the Hero 3+ Black edition and adds a screen to it. A screen which the majority of lifelong GoPro users have been crying out for. Yes, it does 1080p at 60fps rather than the Black Editions 120fps and yes it records 4K at just 15fps compared with the Black Edition's 30fps but for what I intend to use it for, the above frame rates and resolutions will be more than sufficient.
In addition to the screen, the camera packs a whole host of features some of which I've listed below for those of you who're into that kind of thing :

- Video recording up to 4K (at 15 fps)
- Record 1080p at 60fps
- All new button re-design from the old Hero 3+
- All new 'Hilight Tag' which allows you to pinpoint moments in a video
- Protune is available on both video & photo at all resolutions
- All new 'Night Lapse' lets you record beautiful night time footage
As i mentioned above, a key aspect that attracts consumers to GoPro's range is the eco-system which has developed. There are hundreds of mounts for every sport; from shooting, diving and even dog walking enabling the camera to cover every moment from every angle. For my upcoming snowboarding trip, I have a curved adhesive mount on my helmet (as seen in my previous review) aswell as an extension pole which i purchased for that ultra immersive POV footage. I am also hoping to buy a suction cup mount to get some day and night time lapse footage from windows.
